The project called for an interior that would feel deeply personal rather than newly decorated, a home capable of accommodating an established collection while preserving the strength of its architecture. We defined the approach through considered accumulation: old and new, refined and rustic, inherited and bespoke. Each intervention was designed to add another meaningful layer rather than erase what came before.

Walnut joinery, natural stone and limewashed walls sit alongside exposed timber, wrought iron, artwork, books and collected furniture. Exceptional materials and crafted elements, some specially sourced from Italy, bring richness and authenticity to the interior. Within the library, a concealed door is seamlessly integrated into the bespoke shelving, opening into a private home office designed for quiet, focused work away from the activity of the main living spaces. Discreet lighting highlights the architecture and the objects that give it life. The result is a warm and expressive home that feels as though it has evolved naturally over time.
