Copero’s identity grew from the desire for an approachable restaurant where a warm welcome and the theatre of food preparation would shape the experience. Connecting the dining areas, bar and open kitchen required a clear spatial rhythm, with comfortable seating and unobstructed routes for service. Deeper within the interior, limited daylight also made the quality of artificial light and the perception of space particularly important.

A repeated sequence of arches became the organising feature, linking the rooms and giving the restaurant a recognisable architectural language. Mirrored recesses extend views and reflect the activity of the bar, while bespoke banquettes, fitted wine racks and integrated service joinery make practical use of the perimeter. Terracotta framing, textured plaster and a deep red ceiling create an earthy backdrop for dark stone and timber furniture. Opal globe pendants bring gentle light to the tables, supported by concealed illumination around the arches. The restaurant feels convivial and connected, with tactile materials and views of the working kitchen lending warmth and energy to the dining experience.
